Los Angeles County IHSS providers returned to the Board of Supervisors today with a clear message:
Caregivers are the county’s largest low-wage workforce, and yet remain without a real investment.

Caregivers need investment to care for the county’s older adults and those with disabilities. Real change starts with a contract that includes strong quality wages, access to training, and more. Members urged the County Board of Supervisors to do the right thing and prioritize care: Quality Wages for Quality Home Care. We’re keeping up the pressure and will be back at the end of the month to make sure they hear us.
