Los Angeles County IHSS providers returned to the Board of Supervisors last week to share powerful testimony on why the need to prioritize care in the County’s proposed budget matters. This comes after failing to address a quarter of a million care providers by preparing a $4 billion dollar settlement payout to sex abuse claims on the backs of the county’s largest low-wage workforce.
