County Care providers returned to hear the county’s budget plans, hoping to hear about improvements to low wages, healthcare, training, and other critical benefits, instead the county’s budget proposal left behind any mentions to invest in the county’s IHSS program for a quarter of a million L.A. County care providers, while the county prepares a settlement payout to sex abuse claims for $4 billion dollars. Members and care recipients spoke out, shared their stories and urged the L.A.
